When you think of Chevrolet Camaro race cars, you probably don’t think of Europe. Yet that’s exactly where this Chevrolet Camaro GT3 racer hails from, and it’s a beast. Built by Reiter Engineering in Germany from the ground up, it meets FIA GT3 requirements inside and out. And perhaps the biggest giveaway of the Camaro GT3’s nature is the aero kit. The front splitter, canards, and huge rear wing create enough downforce to help keep the Camaro planted as it powers out of the turn and down the straightaways.
Of course we have to mention the melodic exhaust note of this high-displacement 7.9L V8, which puts out 650 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. We should also point out that this mean machine weighs only 2,800 lbs. But enough about numbers, give the video a listen.
