While Hennessey Performance Engineering continues to dial in its 2015 C7 Corvette Z06 build, which is aiming for 1,000 hp, the brilliant minds at HPE are finally finishing up their 2015 C7 Corvette Stingray build.
Hennessey Performance has specifically tuned the 2015 HPE1000 C7 Corvette with the addition of an HPE supercharger kit, and a built 6.2-liter LT1 V8. To make sure you’re able to hear all of that roaring power, HPE has included the exhaust system for good measure. And obviously for increased power.
Hennessey has documented the 2015 HPE1000 C7 Corvette as it took to the dyno for baseline power numbers. HPE says its goal was to each 850 hp to wheels. Upon a few dyno pulls, we have the results.
847 hp to the wheels, and 720 lb-ft of max torque. Yowza.
HPE says to stay tuned as they continue the build process and put the finishing touches on their first C7 Stingray build. In the meantime, you can see the car in all its glory in the video right down below.
