Callaway has long had a in crafting some of the greatest Corvettes of our time with massive supercharging power, and subtle styling tweaks. Callaway is a name any Corvette enthusiast knows. And Callaway is ready to pen the latest chapter in their ongoing aftermarket chase for Corvette power.
That’s where the 2015 Callaway Corvette Z06 will step in. The 2015 Callaway Z06 will be unveiled this weekend the National Corvette Museum’s C7 Bash in Bowling Green, KY, but Callaway has provided us a few details beforehand.
Power figures are absent as of now, but expect them to be touted during the unveiling. What we do know is the 2015 Callaway Z06 will benefit from an all-new “GenThree” supercharger unit. This unit is one-third larger than a factory Z06 unit, and should make for some great forced-induction fun. Along with the new supercharger a new intercooler has been added along with a high-flow intake system.
Looking past the go-fast bits, typical Callaway touches are seen throughout the car. Callaway badging has been added to the exterior and interior with a unique floormats as well. 2015 Callaway Z06s will be documented as true Callaway vehicles, and a three-year/36,000 mile warranty is standard.
So, what’s the price. Power isn’t cheap. If you would like Callaway to add their special touch, it will cost you $16,995 on top of your 2015 Z06 MSRP.
It may seem like a lot, but we’re sure the power figures to be provided will more than solidify this as a sound financial decision.
Comments
Very much anticipating the new Callaway ZO6 Corvette and its boosted RWHP.
Anything over 700RWHP on “91 Octane” (which I have here in California) is certainly worth getting!
However, with that additional HP/TQ the Stage3 Aero package than becomes NECESSARY to assure the stablilty of the car! Might also need to upgrade the suspension! But having done that, with the additional power, & being free of any issues of power being cut or overheating AND being able to STILL retain Callaways 100,000/5yr warranty which can be added, one could drive this beast with UTTER CONFIDENCE!!!!!
With this package I’d pair this car against anything short of a Bugotti, LaFerarri, McLaren P1, OR Porsche 918 (although pending the track, those last two could still have their hands full!)
