1970 Chevrolet Nova SS Is Quite Clean, And Quite Rare: eBay Find

If we were pirates, things like this would be our treasure. Our treasure sports big V8 engines, and styling seen from a different time, however. What we’re talking about here is this 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS. Granted, there are still plenty of vintage Novas to go around, and normally they don’t warrant a rarity factor, but this one most definitely does.
This 1970 Nova SS was produced from the factory with an L89 aluminum head 396 cubic-inch big-block V8 engine. Aluminum wasn’t nowhere near as commonplace as it is today, making this a true rarity. After doing some digging, it seems only around six of these cars are known to exist, and one of them has landed for sale on eBay.
The seller states the car has had a complete rotisserie-style restoration, where everything was kept as close to stock as possible. Besides the timeless, simple styling, the vehicle is in absolute gorgeous condition, and the seller states there are no mechanical problems to be found. The car is also equipped with the optional “Rock Crusher” four-speed manual transmission, making this a quite the package.
But this package has a price. The seller is asking $135,000 currently, with no bids currently. You have 15 days to scrounge up the cash, because this one is worth it. You can see more of the car at the listing here.
Reminds me of my ’70 Nova. Great car.
I used to have the 1970 SS454.
Another “classic” no sale failure. A lot of those get posted here.
