Chevrolet became the first brand to offer 4G LTE Wi-Fi across its entire lineup of vehicles, and General Motors is making sure its other brands are outfitted accordingly. The latest to receive Wi-Fi capabilities is Buick, who is highlighting this in their latest ad spot, which coincides with the brand’s massive marketing blitz during NCAA March Madness activities.
The spot continues to play off of the “That’s Not A Buick” slogan, showing bystanders shocked at the idea of a Buick featuring such an advanced technology. It includes an ecstatic grandmother who can update her blog inside the car, and group of children disappointed upon arriving home because they have to exit the Wi-Fi zone.
It’s well done on Buick’s part, and clever play on the campaign to highlight what you think Buick is, and what they’ve become. The ad campaign has a proven track record too, garnering praise form the scientific community, and has been linked to continued sales success for the brand.

Again, only two undesirable meanings:
1.That’s not a Buick (For a minute I thought it was a cool car and Buick only builds land yachts for people born before 1940).
2.That’s not a Buick (Looks just like every other car on the block).
Since when does nonrecognition sell anything? Oh, those are Nikes? I thought they were a Wal Mart brand. That’s a Yamaha? I thought it was a Chinese knock off.
What a waste of my tax money. Those $200 military toilet seats are a better investment than this.
Are you an idiot? Or just talk like one?
These are some of the most well-received commercials out there. Deal…
