Brand association is a powerful thing. We see a product worn or being used by someone noteworthy to us, and we have to have it. Red Kap clothing pulls this card while having a look at how “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin, seven time off-road champion, earned his nickname.
The video features Baldwin narrating how he came into off-road racing, citing his father as a major influence, while his crew can be seen in the desert landscape testing for the upcoming Mint 400 off-road race. Clearly the most important factors in his career, Baldwin has this to say about his father and his hardworking team:
“It was my dad who first introduced me to dirt sports that I now share with my son. Without my family and my crew’s support I would not have a career in racing. I’m really proud of them and everything that we have accomplished as a team. I look forward to continuing to compete with the best guys in the sport.”
The video then continues to highlight the Red Kap apparel Baldwin and his team showcase, who signed a partnership in 2014, hopefully making an impact on those who don’t already own Red Kap clothing. If Baldwin’s team wears it, it must be quality.
In fact, Baldwin wouldn’t be the only to suggest that quality. Red Kap provides automotive uniforms for a greater portion of automotive manufacturers for in-house service centers, ranging from General Motors to Mitsubishi.
Not to mention, his Silverado trophy truck is pretty dang cool (but arguably not as cool as the restored Ford Bronco he was driving in the beginning of the video). Check out the video we’ve provided right down below.
