Action Express Corvette DP Tops Prototype Leaderboards Following First Sebring Practice

Action Express Racing was the fastest team in the first practice session for the 63rd running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Thursday. Joao Barbosa posted a time of 1:52.485 in his No. 5 Corvette DP, more than a full second ahead of the next fastest car.

Action Express was the only Corvette team near the front of the grid following the practice. In behind them was Ozz Negri, who posted a time of 1:53.732 in his No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Ligier Honda P2 and Nic Jonsson with a time of 1:53.871 in his No. 57 Ligier-Judd P2.

Today the entire TUDOR grid will run their final practice before the qualifying session later in the day. With a full second on the leader in practice, Action Express stands a good shot at locking down pole position for the start of the endurance special Saturday morning.
