Chevrolet Awards 2015 City Express To Small Business Owner

While we’d argue it’s not as exciting as winning a new Z06 or a ’67 Sting Ray, it’s probably still feels pretty good to receive a free 2015 Chevrolet City Express. Especially if the winner is the owner of a small business. And that’s exactly what happened to Tom Wible of Ohio, owner of French Creek Medical, which delivers physical therapy and chiropractic supplies to the Greater Cleveland area.

Wible entered the ‘City Express to Success Challenge’, a Chevrolet contest designed to enhance the growth of a small-business, while building street-cred of the new City Express. Entrants were asked to describe how owning an Express would enhance their small business and drive their productivity.

Chevrolet received thousands videos and essays submitted from small businesses around the country and the judges had to whittle them down to four finalists, each of whom received a $1,000 gas card.

While it might sound a little dull to those of us that don’t use use vans and trucks to in our day-to-day business activity, it truly matters to those who need one. Plus, everyone can appreciate saving upwards of $21,995 on a new vehicle.

And it sounds like the perfect fit for Wible.

“The City Express fits in that spot between not enough room and too much, and it will allow us to tell Cleveland who we are,” he noted.

A far-too-tall Ontarian who likes to focus on the business end of the auto industry, in part because he's too tall to safely swap cogs in a Corvette Stingray.
