2016 Chevrolet Spark Interior Leaks Online Before NYC Debut

Yesterday we pointed out how the Opel Karl likely hints at what we can expect from the 2016 Chevrolet Spark, set to debut at the 2015 New York International Auto Show on April 2. The two cars will share a wheelbase and engines with each other, and if a leaked photo is any indication, their cabins will be nearly identical.
This photo first appeared on Korean automotive message board Bobaedream and was picked up by Indian Autos Blog. When viewed next to a photo of the Karl’s interior, you’ll notice the two have several similarities including the center stack and color display, the shape of the HVAC vents, and the location of the controls to the left of the driver. The gauge clusters appear different, however, with the Spark’s speedometer in the middle and the Karl displaying speed and RPM side-by-side.
We’re not surprised the Spark and Karl have similar interiors, as the cars were developed alongside one another and both ride on General Motors’ slightly modified Gamma platform. We’re expecting the Spark’s cabin to have a more premium feel to it than the current car, which should help it win over buyers when it goes on sale following its debut early next month.

Might want to reword this title.
Not a good headline for a car with expected better Quality LOL!
Not entirely, as it appears the production car won’t even have doors.
😉
Precisely why the interior leaks. lol
