The Woodward Dream Cruise unveiled their all-new logo for this year’s event on Tuesday, featuring a blue 1959 Chevrolet Impala.
As usual, this year’s Dream Cruise, sponsored by Chevrolet, will take place on the third Sunday in August. The long-time Michigan tradition sees more than one million visitors and 50,000 unique cars descend upon Detroit’s Woodward Ave. as car lovers celebrate the area’s rich automotive culture.
According to MLive, the new logo will be officially unveiled on March 6 at the 63rd Annual Meguiar’s Autorama at the Cobo Center in Downtown Detroit.
“We’re very proud to feature the 1959 Chevrolet Impala in the official event design for the 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise,” Greg Rassel, Woodward Dream Cruise Inc. president said in a statement. “We want to thank Chevrolet for the use of this classic 1959 Impala and for the tremendous support they give to the Woodward Dream Cruise.”
He continued.
“We are all committed to keeping the Woodward Dream Cruise the world’s largest, most-unique, one-day free show that ignites and celebrates our passion for the automobile.”
This year’s Dream Cruise will take place on August 15, and you can bet GM Authority will be on hand to gawk over all the priceless metal on display.
