There’s normally few reasons to feel bad for the owner of a brand-new 650 horsepower supercar, but we sympathize with the poor soul who walked out to find their 2015 C7 Corvete Z06 sitting on wooden blocks.
Corvette7 forum user Schlok posted these photos yesterday along with the following message:
“Heads up fellow owners, someone stole my wheels in front of my gf’s apartment this morning! If anyone sees wheels for sale, let me know!”
Some particularly brazen thieves showed up, probably at night or in the early hours of the morning, propped the car up on a wooden block and made off with tires belonging to a $78,000 supercar. Some of these wheel robbers are a little more considerate and leave the car up on four blocks, but in this case, they just let the car rest on its rear brakes.
We can’t imagine there are too many C7 Corvette Z06 wheels for sale right now, so if any pop up, it’d be considerate to let this owner know. On the bright side, at least he has an excuse to splurge on some nice aftermarket wheels.

Oh my god my heart races when I see that shit. Nothing get me more torqued up than when this happens at our Chevy store. But a Z06? Ouch.
Maybe just an honest taxpayer claiming what is rightfully his. Robin Hood is a hero, remember?
Meanwhile, Hyundai builds quality automobiles in Alabama, without unions or your government’s money. And GM is incapable of doing just that.
What is rightfully his? Are you stupid. regardless of what the car costs the owners have worked hard to afford these cars. Im all for hyundias, jeeps all the way to ferrari chevy corvette etc. If you spend more time working harder putting in more time or coming up with a merketable idea or product you could buy the same. I own a new z06 and can tell you where every dollar came from, every meeting every hour, every saturday and night spent. I personally feel horrible for this guy. Its a shame for the car becouse the damage is more than just wheels but its an example of whats wrong with this country. Let others work and we will just steal what they worked for…. that is what your supporting.
You have to understand; magirus is incapable of humility.
Soo… Tell me Hyundai man, where do the profits go when you buy a Hyundai? Not here in America!!!
Look for standard Stingray wheels and tires for sale. They put the stolen Z06 wheels on their Z51 Stingray and don’t need the stock ones anymore.
I can’t wait to get a great deal on this steal. LOL
I feel bad for the owner, but realistically, leaving a Z06 unattended all night at an apartment complex is asking for trouble. I have a C7 Z51 and would never leave it out all night in an unprotected area!
Thought they came with wheel locks…and these wheels would probably be to large for the fenders / body work on a base c7 vette…might fit on a c6 zo6 maybe? ???
I can feel Schlok’s pain, I was working late one night and came out to find the wheels on my ’74 Vette missing. It was sitting just like Schlok’s on a piece of wood. The dick weed that stole them took a tire iron or something and knocked the center caps off the rally wheels and destroyed them. That was 35+ years ago and I still will kill the asshole that took them.
I don’t believe they come with wheel locks, but I wonder why the tilt or suspension displacement sensors didn’t set off the alarm?
>>>Wooden block
Looks like red bricks to me.
that so disgusting
Well finding the stolen wheels again is quite typical as it all depends on the efforts of cops. I can understand how much loss you had to bear because of this incident and wish that everything to get short out soon. As you have asked for the wheels seller, I would say there are many for example http://wheels.net/wheels/toyota-rim.html, wheelpros, msn, etc. as the most reliable. However I would advise, not to lose hope and put your positive efforts on finding the burglar and wheels with the help of cops.
