We Render The Buick-Opel-Vauxhall Cascada Hard-Top Convertible

A few days ago, we showed you what a non-convertible Buick-Opel-Vauxhall Cascada coupé could (probably) look like if it were to come to market. Today, we’re bringing you a hypothetical Cascada hard-top convertible.

Now, if GM ever made a Cascada coupé, it would likely outsell the Cascada soft-top convertible thanks to a lower price point and great market demand for coupes over drop-tops. The same can’t be said of the hard-top cabriolet we have rendered here,  which would probably be in very low demand due to a high price thanks to the complexity and associated cost of the retractable hard-top roof. And that’s why chances of a Cascada hard-top vert seeing the light of day are slim to none. But we can still dream, right? Because a hard-top convertible is really the best of both worlds.

  1. I’ll put it another way. The odds of this coming to market are about as good as a Cascada outrunning my Sky Red Line. On a bad day. Down a cylinder. With the intercooler acting up.

    1. … which was a fine car, that was held back in America by 2 things:

      1. High price, caused by
      2. Expensive European manufacturing and fluctuating Euro-USD exchange rates

So, high price ultimately killed the Eos, even though it was a great car.
