How To Improve A Corvette Z06: Step 1 – Wheels

We’ve seen our fair share of Corvettes, but this Torch Red 2015 Corvette Z06 rockin’ custom ADV.1 wheels really took our breathe away.  With a staggered setup of 20×10.5-inch wheels in the front and 21×12.5-inch wheels in the back, this Corvette Z06 has a menacing look that’ll leave most on-lookers green with envy.  The ADV.1 wheels on this 2015 Corvette Z06 are the ADV10 Track Spec wheels.  They feature a three-piece forged design with step lip construction,  and are made specifically for high performance vehicles.  As if they weren’t exclusive enough, these ADV.1 wheels feature a custom PPG Carbon Flash Lip and a matte black finish.

For those who may not be familiar with ADV.1, you can think of it as the Rolex of wheel industry.  One ADV.1 6.2 TS-SL wheel costs $2,826 from an online vendor, that’s $11,304.  To some that may seem absurd, but if you want the best of the best that’s the price you’ll have to pay.  Looking at this remarkable C7 Corvette Z06 with custom ADV.1s, we’d say it’s definitely worth it.

  1. The Corvette Z06 is a complete work of art, not to be destroyed by odd wheels. Accordingly, one should see the automobile first and wheels later. The wheels should compliment the automobile, not the other way around. In the case of the Corvette Z06, this is an absolute rule. Nothing should distract from the inherent beauty and purpose of the Z06.
But, then again, you can do what they want to you Corvette, because in reality, you are the only one that has to look at it and experience it. Therefore, if it makes you feel better, do it.
