Holden Colorado Awarded Top Ozroamer Award For Second Year Running

The Holden Colorado walked the competition in the yearly Ozroamer comparison test, pitting the Colorado against the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux. The Colorado, wearing the LTZ trim, scored a near perfect 92 out of 100 possible points in the test, and was praised by judges on the panel.

This is the second year in a row the Colorado has won the award, due in part to its versatility to act as a true pickup, but livability as a family vehicle as well.

“The engineers and test team have refined Colorado into a true all-round work truck, farm truck, tradie vehicle and family getaway vehicle that will give years of enjoyment,” said Ozroamer’s Rob Fraser.

The Colorado was also praised for its towing capabilities, a class leading four tons. The quiet cabin, comfortable ride and tech features such as the Holden MyLink system were just the icing on the take to take home the award.

Holden’s Executive Director of Marketing, Bill Mott said the award recognized the important changes to the 2015 model and highlighted the exceptional content and value for money Colorado offered.

“Winning this award demonstrates the all-round capability of Colorado. It delivers outstanding performance, high feature content and striking exterior styling,” Mott said.

  1. My mate Steven bought one of these last month, we have been on numerous fishing trips since through all types of terrain in the bush and i must say that it is a quality vehicle that handles everything well and is also a very comfortable ride. The only thing that annoys me about it is that every time i see him pull up in my driveway I have a bad feeling this will be the new HSV Malloo post 2017. For any Americans that read this, i posted this link to show you what I’m so sad about losing in the Malloo http://www.motoring.com.au/reviews/2014/commercial/holden-special-vehicles/gts/hsv-maloo-gts-2014-review-46904. Yes its not a 4WD but god damn can you move shit in a hurry.
