GM South Africa Sales Total 4,367 Units In January 2015

General Motors South Africa recorded 4,367 new vehicle sales during the month of January 2015. The automaker didn’t specify whether the results were an increase or a decrease compared to January 2014, but did state in a press release that the results placed its market share at 8.3 percent.

GM South Africa Vice President of Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing stated that sales of the Opel brand increased 34 percent in January compared to the same period in 2014.

“This performance should be further bolstered this month with ADAM coming on full stream and the next generation Corsa and Mokka following in the coming weeks,” said Olson.

  1. Hold on a Sec did GM buy Isuzu Motors? I know they use to hold a stake in the company, but I thought they sold out of that.
    Thanks

    1. Africa is a bit different. It’s a collaboration of sorts, where GM sells and distributes Isuzu trucks.
