General Motors is recalling 67,000 units of the Cadillac ATS Sedan to fix a problem with the power sunroof controls.
The problem: a vehicle’s sunroof can automatically close if the non-recessed switches are even slightly touched. The recall is being performed since the driver or passenger can activate the switches with less force than allowed under federal safety standards. GM found the problem in testing an ATS in January.
Affected vehicles: 2013, 2014, and 2015 model year Cadillac ATS sedans equipped with the power sunroof.
Number of vehicles affected: approximately 67,000 vehicles total, most of which have been sold in the U.S. and Canada.
The fix: GM will notify owners of the recall and dealers will replace a switch trim plate in affected vehicles. Dealers have been instructed to stop selling the cars on their lots until they are fixed, while vehicles that are at the factory already received the repair.

Another reason why you do -not- use touch controls where it makes no sense, i.e. anywhere but a screen and even that should be redundant with physical direction keys or something. Even if it’s something as terrible as the rotating thing in BMW’s iDrive.
BMW’s iDrive is significantly better than CUE.
