General Motors Hires New PR Firm To Help With Buick, GMC Lifestyle Programs

It has just been announced that PR firm John Doe has been hired by General Motors to assist with promoting the new Buick and GMC lifestyle programs.

“We plan to work with them on brand-focused consumer and lifestyle programs aimed at reaching new audiences and growing the momentum that already exists around Buick and GMC,” Kelly Cusinato, Director of Buick-GMC Communications, told PR Week in an email.

John Doe will not be replacing any other PR agencies that General Motors currently works with, Cusinato said. The American automotive giant has partnerships with a range of firms, including Weber Shandwick, MSLGroup, FleishmanHillard, and Flip.

In recent history, John Doe has been hired to do PR work for a number of other companies, including fitness brand Equinox (no, not the Chevrolet crossover), and Beats, best known for their line of Beats by Dre headphones.
