We’re extending a courteous reminder to ensure you all have a seat this evening to catch the latest episode of Top Gear, where the C7 Corvette Stingray is handed over to Clarkson, Hammond and May.
The latest Top Gear trailer showed a Velocity Yellow C7 ‘Vette flexing its stuff on the famous Top Gear test track, with what seemed to be Richard May at the wheel. It’s always fun to have our favorite Brits get behind the wheel of an American car, especially an American sports car, for a more global take on how the car performs. Because, let’s face it, Americans typically don’t have an issue with the Corvette, which is as American as apple pie.
The C7 Corvette has already received praise from Top Gear, with the Z06 iteration being awarded “Best Muscle Car.” This will be the first time, though, a Corvette has actually been featured on the program since the C6 Corvette ZR1. We’re pretty sure the C7 won’t disappoint.
So, set those DVRs or take a load off and enjoy one of our favorite machines be featured in the global limelight.

This is very good, especially for the price. The Cayman GTS has a similar price tag but was 2 seconds off. I bet the new Z06 can knock off a low 1:15 or a higher 1:14.
Just wait for the Z06 next year.
