2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom: Hot Or Not?

Chevrolet pulled the veil from the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Custom at the Chicago Auto Show today, giving those buyers on a tighter budget the aesthetics of a well-equipped truck, while doing away with the extra content.

The Silverado Custom offers up 20-inch aluminum wheels, chrome bumpers, a body-colored top cap for the front bumper and chrome mirror caps and door handles. This equipment will help those buyers who don’t mind or actually prefer the Silverado LS’s barebones interior, but want the flashier, more upscale outward appearance of an LT or LTZ model.

So, if you were shopping for a relatively inexpensive pickup but didn’t want the work truck-looking base wheels and black plastic bumper, would you think the Silverado Custom is hot? Let us know by voting below, and feel free to share your opinions on the latest addition to Chevy’ pickup portfolio below.

  1. Reminds me of my dad’s former 01 Silverado. Plain interior but victory red with chrome wheels, 2wd 4.8 and an eye catcher in any lighting.
