1955 Buick Roadmaster Convertible To Grace Mecum Las Vegas

Admittedly, Buick is in the middle of a renaissance. For awhile, though, Buick was lost amongst a sea of badge engineering marketed towards your grandmother. While we can see we’re optimistic for the tri-shield’s future, especially with the stunning Buick Avenir concept, once upon a time Buick was a standard.

That was evident with designs like the 1955 Buick Roadmaster. Now, if you’re going to be paying attention to Mecum Las Vegas this year, you can snag this gorgeous ’55 Roadmaster convertible. The car is painted Cherokee red with a time-period correct red and white interior, and truly is a time machine to bring you back to drive-ins and greasers. Chrome adorns the whole car and really makes the red hue pop.

Powering the Buick is 322 cubic-inch Buick V8 engine making 236-horsepower mated to an automatic transmission, just enough gusto to bustle you to the local car show and back with the wind in your hair. The greatest thing about this car is its not a high-profile listing, which means you might be looking at a classic at a bargain price. You just never know with auction cars.

Be sure to watch for this beaut’ of a Buick boat to cross the block on February 27th.
