Vauxhall has priced the hot Adam Grand Slam from £16,995 ($25,807 USD)in the United Kingdom, Auto Express reports. The Adam Grand Slam was formerly referred to as the Adam S, until Vauxhall announced a name change for the car in late December. The range-topping Adam is still called the Adam S outside of the United Kingdom, however.
The Adam Grand Slam utilizes Opel’s 1.4-liter turbocharged EcoTec engine and a six-speed manual transmission to deliver 148 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque to its front-wheels. This results in a 0-62 mph sprint of 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph. There’s also a front and side lower lip kit, a sporty rear diffuser and hatch spoiler, sporty 18-inch alloy wheels, VXR brakes and optional Recaro seats.
The Adam S’ name was changed to Grand Slam in Britain to prevent consumers confusing the car with the previous-generation Corsa, which was available in base-level ‘Corsa S’ trim. The Grand Slam will go on sale this March, with Vauxhall projecting sales of around 750 units per year.

We have VXR as a sporting brand, wonder if there are any plans to launch a luxury brand. The CD badge was often used to top line luxury models back in the day & as a nod to this heritage Corps Diplomat could be the upmarket luxury trim.
today can no longer be quite as it is a well-equipped car. Today is a long list of optional equipment on cars. MB S class is also well equipped with the optional subscription option but is still a very long list.
This is a complicated issue. However, the reality is different from the names of supply levels.
different brands have different strategies. The CD is an ancient settlement, however, can also come back. In my opinion, the CD does not sound interesting today. we live in today’s day
Never was a cd but I still had a chance yet added to the order.
grand slam and the VXR is also yet at a level where you can be a lot of extra equipment, ordered yet.
Pointless thread. everyone subscribes to such a car as he pleases. I do not know of any great car to be sold fully equipped, in order to no longer have any additional equipment can not be ordered
