3M was responsible this year for designing and applying the livery to Jeff Gordon’s No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet SS. They had previously teased eager NASCAR fans with videos showing them presenting Gordon with purposely bad fake designs to drum up excitement for the real deal, which they unveiled in a video earlier today.
Gordon’s new design is much simpler than last year’s, with a silver base, a large white stripe running up the center, a couple of red stripes laid over the sides and 3M logos placed throughout. It’s not very bright, but it shouldn’t make the always-competitive Gordon hard to pick out from the swarm of stock cars set to run in this year’s Sprint Cup series.
We’ve embedded the reveal video below, followed by parts 1, 2 and 3 of 3M’s teaser videos.
