According to the following YouTube video from Pro Line Racing, this turbo-charged 2000 Chevy Camaro has secured the title of the world’s fastest quarter-mile drag radial car. Piloted by Roger Holder, the Camaro ran the quarter in 6.12 seconds at 244 mph — which is just impressive. Equally impressive is the way the car hooks up to launch right off the line, not even giving that Mustang a chance:
A quick note about the track: the run appears to be downhill, but actually isn’t. Instead, the track curves up after the quarter mile to help with deceleration.

Not the world’s fastest drag radial car. If you mean as far as GM goes? Then yes, but pro drag radial cars in general? No. MMR has gone 6.01 at 244 in their modular powered mustang and even before this article was published John Mihovetz of accufab was running 6.04s at 242 in his 4.6 modular powered pro drag car. Still an impressive run none the less.
Not on drag radials. ..they claim is a 4.6 when it’s really 358 ci 3.70 bore x4.165 stroke…do da math on 65 lbs of boost.
