$13,000 can you get you a lot in the way of used cars, but few would be as interesting and eccentric as this 2-door 1937 Chevrolet Rat Rod pickup currently for sale on eBay. The seller says the car turns heads and “literally stops traffic” which usually requires a much more expensive car to do.
Under the non-existent hood of this Rat Rod is a 283 Chevrolet Small Block V8 sourced from a 1958 Corvette. It has the heads from a 1985 Corvette, a four-barrel carb and a mild cam, but none of that matters, because all most people will care about is how cool they’ll look in this thing.
If you’re spending ten figures on something that wouldn’t look out of place in an abandoned barn, you want to know it runs and drives fine. This whole package is built on an S10 frame and even comes with disc brakes and a brand new master cylinder. It will also “drive anywhere” according to the seller, and if it breaks, it will be cheap and fairly easy to fix.
