Stripped 2011 Camaro SS With Salvage Title A Nice Starting Point For A Project Car: eBay Find

In reporting on cars we find for sale on eBay, we usually bring you unique vehicles, rarities, replicas, one-offs, and beasts, like those with über-powerful LS motors. Today, however, we have the opposite of all of those things, because this 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS for sale on eBay lacks nearly every major component to make it a car. But that could be a good thing.

The Camaro in question is being sold on eBay by a wrecked title dealer in California. The asking price? $7,995.

For starters, the body looks to have some scuffs and bruises around the rear, but nothing too drastic. But it’s also missing a motor, electrical components, battery, seats, and a transmission, among other items. All this makes it a good starting point for a project vehicle, wouldn’t you say?

Granted, we’re not sure what happened to the car to earn it a salvage title, but let’s focus on the positives. This Camaro once retailed for close to $35,000, so $8,000 is a drop in the bucket for what the car could become in the hands of a dedicated buyer. We forsee a new LS motor and all sorts of other goodies to make this Camaro into something truly special, perhaps a drag strip monster. After all, it seems that the tires installed on the vehicle are ready for the drag.

Updated: the vehicle has sold for $7,995.
