NFL Announces Candidates For GMC Never Say Never Award

The National Football League and GMC have announced the five finalists for the 2014 GMC ‘Never Say Never Moment of the Year’ award. The Never Say Never Moment of the Year represents the best moment or play of the year which “represents determination and perseverance” the NFL says.

The five final Never Say Never plays were selected from a group of the 17 most memorable moments of the season. Each week the would select NFL three nominees for moments of the week, and fans would vote for the winner on NFL.com/GMC.

“The 2014 ‘GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year Award’ nominees epitomize determination, perseverance and teamwork,”  Rich Latek, GMC marketing director, said in a statement. “These characteristics are demonstrated everyday by GMC’s engineers creating professional grade trucks, crossovers and SUVs for our customers.”

The Never Say Never moments include the Bills last-second TD on the Vikings, the Packers win over the Dolphins and the Browns comeback win on the road. All five of the plays can viewed and voted for on NFL.com/GMC. Fans can also visit GMC.com/nfl to enter for a chance to win the ‘GMC Never Say Never NFL Fan Experience’, which includes a trip to the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, a GMC vehicle of choice and other sweepstakes.

  1. The whole Seattle Seahawks team wins the award for most unlikely miracle comeback in football history. Who knows, maybe they will be steamrolled by the Patriots, but they kept playing when Green Bay decided to sit back and coast.
