General Motors President, Dan Ammann, will be speaking in front of more than an estimated 800 media and OEM executives, kicking off two days of new vehicle introductions at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. The Kiwi’s keynote will take place on April 1st at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Notably, we expect the all-new 2016 Cadillac CT6 to be unveiled the night before the show, which Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen says will occur on March 31st.
Ammann is part of the newest generation of GM executives with goals to move the company further through smart decision making and award-winning vehicles. The relatively young executive has been charged with taking GM into a new era of superior vehicle design, technical innovation and customer focus.
His responsibilities include GM’s global automotive business operations and its financial business, GM Financial. Ammann has stated one of his main goals to is to drive consumer demand, profits and employment through strong brands and great customer experience.
Previously, Ammann was executive vice president and chief financial officer where he transformed GM Financial into a leaner and world-class organization.
