Opel-Vauxhall sales across the European region increased in December 2014, but overall GM sales decreased as the discontinuation of Chevrolet in the region continued to hurt The General’s overall sales volume.
GM posted the following sales results across the European region.

Opel-Vauxhall: 66,833 units sold, up 5.8 percent from 63,183 units sold in December 2013
Chevrolet: 379 units sold, down 95 percent from 7,532 units sold in December 2013 due to the discontinuation of Chevrolet in the region

Seems like Chevrolet want harming, reducing, Opel sales after all.
These are two different brands, and there was space for.eacheach.
Hyundai/Kia compete,.as do other brands. Chevy.could have been reposition in Europe as a true value Skoda-like brand by rebadging Boajun autos.
December 2014 – Vauxhall overtook Ford to gain the No1 selling brand with a 13.94% market share. In addition the No1 best selling car was the Corsa (and that’s the old one!) and in LCV sales Vauxhall moved from No4 to No2.
Total GM European sales Dec 2014 = 68565 units
Total Vauxhall sales Dec 2014 = 27762 units – a massive 40.4% of all GM Europe sales.
Total 2014:
Total GM European = 924275 units
Total Vauxhall sales = 301796 units – 32.67% of all GM Europe Sales
