2016 Chevrolet Camaro Teased At NAIAS 2015?

During their press conference at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Chevrolet confirmed they would release five all-new cars this year, including the recently debuted 2016 Volt. That also includes the sixth-generation Camaro, which Camaro News thinks they might have caught a glimpse of while at the show.

Chevy flashed an image on the their large auto show screen the darkened silhouette of what appear to be several future products, including the 2016 Camaro. The image appears to show a similar front-end to the fifth-generation car, along with a more fastback-style, modern-looking rear greenhouse section.

Both these details are in line with spy shots we’ve seen of the 2016 Camaro, so we’re pretty confident were looking at a very faint teaser of the new car. The new Camaro isn’t for out, potentially slated for a debut at the New York International Auto Show in April, but if you’re feeling a bit impatient, see what you can make out from the teaser here.

  1. Yes that is the car and it is more different than many have made it out to be. Yes it has some tone of the old but a lot of new too.

You will not mistake the 6th or a 5th trust me.

    1. Generally the spoiler is an option on the base car. I expect the upper cars Z/28 it will be more functional than it has been in the past since that is something they have been doing of late and even Ford on the new 350 GT.

I have seen mules with and without.

  5. The Cruze looks different from what they’ve shown. And if that’s a Malibu back there I see where those Stingray cues are that Welburn mentioned.
