Chevrolet has revealed a new Custom Sport special-edition package for the 2015 Silverado, which is “intended to pay homage to the Custom Sport Trucks of the late 1960s,” according to Chevy marketing director Sandor Piszar.
The Silverado Custom Sport features body color bumpers and a body color grille surround, along with a black chrome-trimmed grille, 20-inch chrome wheels and “extra chrome bling,” on the door handles, mirrors, and door moldings. Chevrolet says the body colored accents give both single and extended cab Silverados a “sophisticated monochromatic look.”
Also included in the package are Projector-style headlights, exposed tow hooks, and heated power mirrors. The Silverado Custom Sport is only available in either white or black, however if optioned along with the LTZ equipment package, White Diamond Tricoat replaces standard white.
Chevrolet says the Silverado Custom Sport is reminiscent of the original Chevrolet Custom Sport Truck models of the late 1960s, which also had additional chrome exterior trim, bucket seats and chrome-accented interior controls.
The Custom Sport package can be fitted to an LT, LTZ or Z71 2015 Chevrolet Silverado for $1,950 to $2,950. Customers can place orders are through their Chevrolet dealer now.

I want to see a heritage package with white roof
I like the trim but I still wish they would offer a 2 wheel drive with a handling package ala ZQ8.
Looks good . Glad its not only black that seems to be the fad right now .
Purchased one of these in white diamond the first of May. I absolutely love this truck. I had a customer sport 1969 C10 back in 1985 and it was wonderful also. Chevrolet hit a home run with both models.
