Vauxhall has appointed a new Director of Brand Marketing, Chris Hawken, who it says brings a “wealth of knowledge and experience,” in marketing to the brand. He has a number of positions within the automotive industry, including with many other OEMs.
Hawken has held positions with Hyundai, Renault, Audi, Volkswagen and Skoda and joins Vauxhall “at a pivotal time for the organization as it embarks on its journey to strengthen the brand,” the automaker said.
Hawken will ensure that all of Vauxhall’s communications ventures and media placements optimize brand development and result in additional sales. He will report to the yet-to-be-decided Vauxhall sales and marketing director, who will be named in the New Year. Current Vauxhall marketing director, Peter Hope, will now be the director of customer experience.Â
