The Vauxhall Adam Grand Slam, Vauxhall’s take on Opel’s hot Adam S, will debut in production form at the upcoming Autosport International show in Birmingham, UK. The Adam Grand Slam was previously shown under the Adam S nameplate at this year’s Paris, Frankfurt and Geneva motor shows, however its appearance at Autosport will be the first time it wears the ‘Grand Slam’ nameplate in public.
The Adam Grand Slam will serve as the range-topping model in the Adam lineup. It’s powered by a 148 horsepower turbocharged version of the Adam’s 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine, which is backed up with larger VXR brakes, a slick six-speed manual transmission and a specially-tuned sport chassis. There’s also a front lip spoiler, side sill moldings, an extended rear bumper and a rear hatch spoiler.
Vauxhall has yet to announced pricing for the Adam Grand Slam in the UK, however Opel priced the Adam S out at 18,690 Euros In Germany. Further pricing information may become available following its debut at the Autosport show on January 8th.

150hp ?. This name change is reasonable. Adam’s name or leave an impression as parts of some high-end models. the top models of the OPC. One bad thing is that the most basic version is cheaper without the Recaro seats, and without a big Aluminium rims. and even without the beautiful things. such models have already seen the pictures on here a lot more expensive. no right to see how they will buy either start or buy a fully equipped Models are standard equipment. Of course it would be nice to buy expensive fully-equipped models. people would just disappointing cheap base model is equipped, as people have definitely left an impression on the basis of media, such as images of Adam’s is such a cheap price as written. in fact, it has long been the car should be available for sale and the sale of this would have contributed to other Adam Opel sales and the popularity.
Everybody’s waiting for the Adam VXR 🙂
