What price do you put on your life? Depending on your answer to that question, and how close in proximity to a war zone you are, the $200,000 price tag of this fully armored 2015 Chevrolet Suburban for sale on eBay will be either absurd, or a no-brainer.
The seller of the armored SUV says its still a work in progress, with the photos showing it basically in pieces in their shop. You should probably wait until you’ve actually armored said armored vehicle before trying to sell it, but we digress.
Once it’s complete, the Suburban will have a fully-armored body and roof with OEM panels, heavy duty door hinges and retainers, 39mm-thick ballistics glass, blast-protected floors and armor over the engine bay. The fuel tank will also be covered in a steel-case and the suspension components will be upgraded to account for the additional weight.
With that set up, occupants are safe from bullet fire, and even the detonation of two DM-51 German ordinance hand grenades. So whether you’re a controversial figure head, a mafia boss or just paranoid, you can relax during your commute knowing you’ll be safe.

Now where do I sign up for this stocking stuffer?
Chevy sold 71 Volts in January in Canada, compared to 11 in 2012, 44 in 2013 and 66 last year. It’s a good sign for Chevrolet, as the aging current-gen model’s popularity appears to be spiking just as the next-generation 2016 Volt is set to be introduced, potentially setting it up for early success.
The Chevrolet is the best option to select for armouring, 200K is a little more expensive. anyway it will rock on roads.
