Hennessey Performance Engineering’s 700 horsepower C7 Corvette Stingray flew all the way across the Atlantic so it could wow the crowds at Germany’s Essen Motor Show, but it wasn’t the only C7 in attendance at the exhibition. German tuning company Prior Design also brought a C7 along, however unlike Hennessey, they paid the most attention to the C7’s appearance when tuning it.
Prior’s tuning package for the C7 Corvette consists of a redesigned front fascia with a carbon fiber diffuser and canards, carbon side skirts, widened wheel arches, a carbon fiber rear diffuser and Aristo forged wheels. It offers up 2015 Z06 levels of aggressiveness while also delivering a bit of unique European flare.
Prior also offers reupholstered interiors for its vehicles. This Corvette has special square-stitched seats reupholstered in leather and alcantara with a matching alcantara center console, doors and steering wheel. There’s no word on if it has received any performance enhancements, but just the thought of a C7 Stingray with Prior exterior and interior parts and Hennessey guts has us watering at the mouth.
A 2015 Corvette Z06 would probably be cheaper than a Prior Design Stingray, but there’s no comparison between the two when it comes to exclusivity. It’s not your only choice if you’ve been looking to inject your Corvette with a bit of German style, but it’s certainly the most extreme.

Did they fix the ugly rear fascia of the C7? The current Vette has the ugliest ass ever to roll out of Bowling Green.
