Opel Pranks The World By Pretending To Stuff An Elephant Into A New Vivaro: Video

So, Opel’s new Vivaro is big. So big, in fact, that Opel pretended to kidnap an elephant and then park the van with the supposedly-captured mammal in public places, such as outside of an Ikea and Obi (like a Home Depot) stores. The van then starts to rock from side to side to the tune of elephant cries, making it seem like there’s an actual elephant inside the Vivaro and causing some amusing looks (and actions) from passers-by.

Opel Vivaro Elephant Prank Outside Ikea Store

Just in case you’re concerned about either one of those two acts, there was no kidnapping of an elephant nor an actual elephant, for that matter. Opel’s goal was to simply demonstrate how spacious the Vivaro is “for each transport task”. Clever marketing, we say.

So, without any further ado, enjoy the video:

  1. Insane. So what did the guy with the child in his arms actually see? I wish there could have been a better shot.
