Sale of General Motors vehicles in Europe (EU and EFTA Countries) dropped 11.9 percent to 62,908 units in November 2014 according to figures posted by European Automotive Manufacturers Association.
GM’s individual brands performed as follows:
- Opel-Vauxhall sales increased 1.1 percent to 62,658 units
- Roughly one year after the brand announced its exit from the market’s mainstream segments, Chevrolet sales dropped 97.3 percent to 250 units
From January through November of 2014, General Motors has sold 838,433 vehicles in the European Union and EFTA markets, down 4.2 percent. During the same timeframe, GM’s brands performed as follows:
- Opel-Vauxhall sales have risen 7.9 percent to 802,536 units
- Chevrolet sales have fallen 72.7 percent to 35,748 units
