British (Super)Man Bench Presses A Vauxhall Corsa: Video

Considering the speed and means with which workout fads are born in the digital age, this has got to be a future fitness craze soon to sweep the globe: bench pressing your car.

The video below shows British man Lee Thompson laying under the rear of a Vauxhall Corsa, and then proceeding to press the 2,400 pound car sixteen times. The cellphone video was posted to the UK’s Mirror, who spoke to Mr. Thompson regarding the stunt – a result of his boredom when he was having a go at fixing his cousin’s car.

“I had a couple of lads with me and they were taking too long to put the jack under the car. In a moment of madness, I attempted to lift the car. To my amazement, it actually came off the ground. I actually lifted it a couple of times before we filmed it.”

Yeah, now try it with a Hummer H2*.

*DISCLAIMER: The above was not a serious suggestion. Attempting this feat with ANY Hummer vehicle has a 100% chance of resulting in failure, shame, bodily injury, and/or DEATH.

Doesn’t look British to me. If I had to guess I would say Jamaican.

Residing in Britain does not make one British.
