A 1980 Chevrolet Suburban Limo For You And Your Friend(s): eBay Find

Renting limos can be expensive. Buying an old one is a great alternative, and this one also happens to be unique, as well thanks to its choice of make and model. This 1980 Chevrolet Suburban Custom features 22 feet of total length, giving the interior plenty of room for a bunch of your friends and a night on the town or to go watch the home team win a game.

And while its plum color scheme, gloriously fake wood trim, and rear mounted closed circuit television reek of outdated 1980’s era technology, who is to say that it can’t all be replaced with modern era gizmos and gadgets? That aside, the exterior is also in relatively good shape, and features a cool looking two tone paint job. Look a little closer and there is a fair share of scrapes, dents, and dings as well as a broken lower rocker panel on the front passenger door signifying some of the wear and tear that it went through during its time on the road.

Performance for this behemoth comes from the familiar and iconic Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 and automatic transmission. The seller does reveal though that it will need new brakes, as well as a complete tune-up to bring it back to its full performance potential which should be kept in mind before placing a bid since its stretched dimensions may not allow it to fit on most vehicle hoists. All of this, explains why it’s currently going for chump change: $2,075 at the time of this writing.

You can check out the official listing here to see if this custom Suburban has what it takes to be the ultimate jack of all trades for your garage.
