Vets Mark Veterans Day In Their ‘Vettes: Video

Every year on Veterans Day, Americans take the time to recognize those who have served and fought in the U.S. Armed Forces. The National Corvette Museum began marking the holiday with its Vets ‘n Vettes event in 2008, which allows former and current servicemen and woman to celebrate both veterans and their favorite sports car on the same day.

This year Vets ‘n Vettes was held on November 5th through to the 7th. Due to the recent completion of the NCM’s Motorsports Park, this year’s event was extra special for the veterans. Members of certain Warrior Transition Battalions flew out the museum where they enjoyed rides around the track in members’ Corvettes, as well as lunch and tour of the museum and the Bowling Green plant.

The two-day event also consisted of a meet and greet, road tours in various Corvettes and an appearance in the Bowling Green Veterans Day Parade. The NCM put together a short video recap of the event, complete with interviews from war vets who were in attendance and footage from the Veterans Day parade. Check it out just below, and if you want to support the vets at the event next year, you can sign up to receive the details by email at this link.
