You may have seen those ride along videos on the internet in which a guy attempts to scare an attractive girl with the speed of his car. They’re a bit cheesy, if we’re honest. That’s why it’s nice to see the roles reversed, with a girl behind the wheel putting a huge smile on her male co-driver’s face.
Chevrolet hosted a “ride and drive” event at the SEMA show this week, in which lucky attendees had the chance to ride in a C7 Corvette Stingray. One of the drivers giving everyday guys like you and me rides was former IndyCar and current NASCAR competitor Danica Patrick. Chevrolet Performance’s blog, The Block, sent out one of its employees to ride along with Danica, and from the looks of it, he had a great time.
The track was a make-shift course made out of pylons, so Danica doesn’t get the chance to really stretch the Corvette’s legs, but she still takes some fast corners and manages to kick the rear end out a bit once or twice. When do we get our ride, Danica?
