Lingenfelter Receives Global Media Award For C7 Corvette Intercooler Design

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering received the 2014 Global Media Award at the SEMA Show for their new C7 Corvette intercooler manifold, which was recognized for its compact, low profile design.

A panel of journalists from more than 20 different countries reviewed hundreds of entries in the SEMA New Products Showcase to select products which would appeal to customers in their home markets. Lingenfelter’s intercooler was chosen as it fits with a stock C7 hood and fits flush into the engine compartment, according to Hometown Life. It is designed for supercharged or turbocharged applications and is good for up to 1200 horsepower.

“We have seen a growing international interest in many of Lingenfelter’s high-performance engine components and vehicles, and are pleased to be recognized by this group of very knowledgeable global journalists,” said owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, Ken Lingenfelter.

The Global Media Awards were first handed out by SEMA in 2004 and were created to showcase the best specialty products to a growing number of automotive enthusiasts from all over the world. By SEMA estimates, more than 25 percent of customers at this year’s show came from outside the United States.
