Sales of General Motors vehicles in the European Union (EU and EFTA Countries) dropped 5.71 percent to 70,686 units in October 2014, according to figures posted by European Automotive Manufacturers Association.
GM’s individual brands performed as follows:
- Opel-Vauxhall sales increased 11.36 percent to 70,064 units
- Chevrolet sales dropped 95 percent to 597 units, roughly one year after the brand’s exit from the market
- Cadillac sales grew 56 percent to 25 units (shown as GM U.S. in the table below)
From January through October of 2014, General Motors has sold 791,871 vehicles in the European Union, down 3.76 percent. During the same timeframe, GM’s brands performed as follows:
- Opel-Vauxhall sales have risen 8.19 percent to 753,992 units
- Chevrolet sales have fallen 70 percent to 37,570 units
- Cadillac sales have risen 63 percent to 309 units (shown as GM U.S. in the table below)
