General Motors and Costco Wholesale Corp.’s Oct. 1-Jan. 1 promotion has helped three GM products make the list of most-requested vehicles for Costco dealership referrals in October, according to Automotive News.
The full-size Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra were the most popular referrals among Costco customers, followed by the GMC Acadia crossover. In total, Costco received about 18,000 requests for GM dealership referrals in October, more than Toyota and Honda, which typically rank first and second.
Costco and GM’s referral program makes select GM vehicles available at prices normally reserved for the automaker’s suppliers. Program users will also receive a $400-$600 Costco Cash Card. Gina Paolino, president of Costco Auto, told AN they expect about 35,000 GM vehicles to be sold through the program this year, up from 22,000 last year.
Eligible models include the 2014 and 2015 Buick Enclave and Encore, Cadillac ATS, CTS, ELR and XTS, Chevrolet Equinox, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse and Volt, and GMC Acadia, Sierra, Terrain, Yukon and Yukon XL.

This is good news. Brand new Costco has just opened in our area.
Future discounts on the way for our family.
Sadly, I bet the program does not include Camaro or Corvette.
