Chevrolet Unveils 2015 Camaro Convertible Commemorative Edition At SEMA

The final year of production of the fifth-generation Camaro is nearly upon us, and Chevrolet is offering a swansong Commemorative Edition to send off the Zeta-based ponycar in style. The Commemorative Edition Camaro coupe is special in itself, but the convertible offers some model-exclusive features which make it stand out even more.

Much like the Commemorative Edition Camaro coupe, the convertible is available on 2LT and 2SS trim levels and can be had in conjunction with the RS package. The car is only available in five body colors (Black, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, Ashen Gray, Red Hot) and has some unique touches such as Commemorative Edition fender emblems, a ZL1 spoiler and a body color front splitter.

Where the Commemorative Edition convertible sets itself apart from the coupe is its red accents. The car wears the same exterior vinyl graphics as its fixed-roof peer, but they feature a red outline on the drop-top. It stands on 21-inch 5-spoke wheels with a red outline (pulled from the 2013 Hot Wheels Camaro), Chevrolet Accessories Premium Floor Mats with red edging, and a red engine cover.

Inside, the red treatment continues with an Adrenaline Red and Black leather interior, red stitching, a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, and Commemorative Edition sill plates. Options include MyLink-based navigation system with a 7-inch diagonal touch screen and dual mode exhaust.

The Camaro Commemorative Edition Convertible, along with the coupe, is set to go on sale in the spring of 2015. Pricing details have yet to be announced.
