Chevrolet Kicks Off Toys For Tots Campaign In Washington, D.C.

Chevrolet has announced it is partnering with the Washington D.C. radio station 107.3 and the U.S. Marine Corps this year for its annual Toys for Tots charity campaign. Chevrolet kicked off the drive, which ensures that less fortunate children in the D.C.-area will receive a gift this holiday season, by donating $5,000 to spend on toys.

Those looking to donate to the drive can bring new, unwrapped toys to any of the 27 Washington D.C.-area Chevrolet dealerships. A list of participating dealers is available at DCs1073.com. The drive is now open and runs through to December 16.

“We are very fortunate to have the generous support of theWashington D.C. Area Chevrolet Dealers,” said retired Marine Major Bill Grein. “No doubt, with the toys collected at their area dealerships, along with their $5,000 contribution, we will be able to fulfill the Christmas holiday dreams of many less fortunate children, who otherwise might have been overlooked.”

Sam loves to write and has a passion for auto racing, karting and performance driving of all types.
