Cadillac Middle East Sales Up 35 Percent In October 2014

Cadillac is selling cars and taking names in the Middle East, posting a 35 percent year-over-year sales increase in October 2014. The October sales jump follows the brand’s best-ever monthly sales results in history in the Middle East, which it achieved in September.

Cadillac Regional Marketing and Sales Director, Felix Weller, attributes the growth to a fresh business strategy, standout products and the introduction of the latest generation of the Escalade.

“We recently changed the structure of our Cadillac unit, which gives us the opportunity for greater focus on growing the brand throughout the Middle East region,” he said.

What’s more, both new and existing customers are driving Cadillac’s growth in the region.

“Interest in Cadillac is increasingly growing. People continue to sit up and take notice of these sophisticated vehicles which are like nothing else on the road right now,” said Weller.

To note, the all-new 2015 Escalade has just recorded its best-ever sales month in the Middle East. The new K2XX-based SUV has “been a key factor driving the overall growth of the Cadillac brand in the region,” said Weller.

The future looks even brighter for the brand as it launches the all-new ATS Coupe next month, and “three additional brand new models to be released over the next two years”, which we’re assuming including the 2016 ATS-V, the 2016 CT6 full-size flagship sedan, and the next-generation 2016 SRX.

Update: we’ve asked GM Media Middle East for concrete sales figures rather than percent change numbers, but have yet to hear back. We will update this article when/if we do.
