Cadillac has updated the “Future Vehicles” section of its website to include information about the upcoming full-size 2016 CT6Â flagship.
Clicking on the button takes the user to this ‘handraiser’ page, which contains the following text:
“The Cadillac CT6 takes a new approach to prestige luxury. This top-of-range sedan emphasizes a dynamic driving experience and advanced technology. So ready your imagination as we prepare to reveal what’s around the corner.”
The handraiser page also contains a fillable form, which registers the user for updates on the CT6 as they become available, while giving GM or a GM dealer permission to contact the user with any offers or product information.

Cadillac CT6 handraiser page
Built on GM’s all-new Omega full-size vehicle architecture, the upcoming CT6 sedan will mark the first time in nearly two decades that Cadillac offers a full-size, rear-drive luxury sedan that serves as the brand’s flagship. But unlike Cadillac’s full-size flagships of the past, which had soft driving dynamics and uninspiring handling characteristics, the CT6 promises to offer an engaging and sporty driving experience. When it goes on sale sometime in 2015, the full-size 2016 CT6 will be lighter than the mid-size CTS while calling out the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Lexus LS, and Audi A8/S8 as direct competitors.

Could the picture of the Cadillac crest on a white car be the rear end of the CT6? Like what Chevy did with the teaser image of the new volt.
I hope “sporty driving experience” doesn’t mean it rides rough. I actually enjoy a smooth ride to relax my mind on a 40 minute drive to work. A rough ride might have me come in the door and curse someone out. Hope I like this car or I guess I’ll still hold on to my DTS platinum as I’ve a ready decided to skip XTS
I just keep looking at the rendering and keep hoping that the actual car has more flair on the side and the rear.
It better have more flair, or it’s going to go the way of my grandaddy’s Fleetwood Brougham.
This is showtime for GM, Reuss, Welburn, the whole lot. Forget “feel good” relations with suppliers too. This–Cadillac’s performance, or lack of, the next few years–will, or at least really should be what Barra’s judged by.
I hope we’re not left with excuses months from now. None of that, Just wait for generation 2 or 3 or 4, or, look over here at how much we’re growing in this market, just don’t compare us to our competitors… kind of GM forum/PR BS that we’ve all grown so accustomed of hearing.
Judging by everything we’ve seen from Cadillac as of late, the above named shouldn’t be overconfident, that’s for certain.
Can we hope for an LA Auto Show debut?
No news here. This has been on thier page for at least 3 weeks now
I thought thares going to be a CT8 above the CT6
