There’s no denying that the all-new 2015 ATS Coupe is a looker. So much so, in fact, that beautiful women gawk at the vehicle. And continuing the theme set out by the original irresistible ad, this new spot, entitled Spill, shows a lovely lady crossing the street while admiring the ATS Coupe. As she stares at the Caddy, a lovely gentleman (Steve Merchant) inside the Caddy accidentally honks the horn, startling the lady into spilling the coffee she was holding all over her blouse. So instead of helping the girl out, the gent decides to hide in the car.
Smooth, dude. So, smooth. Watch:

Cadillac really, really needs a new ad agency
I hate to be negative but what happened to the zeppelin catchy commercials, cadillac is a world class company not a comedic company. They should really bring back the zeppelin it’s what started this whole art and science program about 12 years ago it’s time to revive those typed of commercials
Cadillac is trying to reach buyers to which Led Zeppelin has always been pensioner music.
Cadillac is to represent the best of what is to come, not of what was best for your father. 2015, not 1975. The future, not the past.
And it is things like this that are causing plant shutdowns.
Time less Led Zeppelin is fine as it covers well the folks who can buy these cars.
Just take a look at the most recent Benz ad. In one minute we cover safety, technology, Performance, Image and style. What do we get here?
Cadillac has a Video of the new ATS V running 0-138-0 in 17-18 seconds. 0-60 in 3 seconds. Why are we putting this on the web and not on TV.
I can see who ever is overseeing this marketing has no passion for the product or a clue how to sell it.
In this class it is all about image and ego. You sell this with Style, Performance, Technology and what it can do for you.
If you want to make the point here you get a guy women love and guys wish they were and make them think they can get him or be like him if they own this car. While you do this visually you have him demonstrate the technology in the car.
No goof balls like Matthew McConaughey’s or Tom Cruise. I would look to a Bradley Cooper or Daniel Craig or someone of that level and style. But you get the idea.
Well said Scott, I agree it doesn’t have to be zeppelin in 2015 but they were catchy, fast and dramatic. These commercials don’t say one word about the car, I agree the 0-138-0 would be a fantastic ad for TV.
Lexus has better commercials for the IS and RC…what the hell is Cadillac doing?!
