Buyers looking to add more sizzle to the 2015 Corvette Z06 and its honey-baked blend of raw performance and slick styling? Look no further than renowned Corvette-tuner Hennessey Performance Engineering and the upcoming HPE1000 upgrade. Yesm the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is already a huge step up from the base Vette in terms of performance, styling, and technological innovation, but the HPE1000 package turns up the heat and allows the 2015 Corvette Z06 to achieve its full track slaying potential.
It all starts with the little things with forged pistons and rods, a custom built HPE camshaft, as well as ported cylinder heads helping to beef up the internals of the mighty 6.2 liter supercharged V8. Speaking of that supercharger, it too has also been beefed up to produce more boost while the intercooler and its built-in heat exchanger unit have also seen revisions that are designed to allow them to draw more cold air into the engine than before which helps beef up performance even more. Overall the full suite of upgrades allows the car to produce over 1,000 horsepower (a 350 horsepower gain) which should allow the 2015 Corvette Z06 to taste its full potential out on the track.
Meanwhile, exterior and interior modifications are limited to mainly aesthetic items and feature a custom Hennessey hood, custom exterior badging, and dash and engine mounted plaques as well as Hennessey branded floormats which is fine with us considering how much we liked the 2015 Corvette Z06’s interior setup right out of the box. Look for more information about the HPE1000 package (including 0 to 60 mph times) to slowly emerge in the near future.
