2015 Chevrolet Silverado Polaris ACE+ Concept Hauls For The Fun Of It: SEMA 2014

The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado works hard on the job site, but it’s also built for fun like tackling the trail. This Silverado Z71 Polaris ACE+ concept with 33-inch tires is proof enough.

“The Silverado is designed to work hard for its owner, on or off the clock,” said Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet truck marketing. “Pairing it with the new Polaris ACE perfectly illustrates how the Silverado easily changes its support role when it’s time to leave the job site for the trail head.”

The concept starts off with a 2015 Silverado Z71 crew cab with a 6-foot 6-inch bed, adding 33-inch by 12-.5-inch off-road tires mounted on 22-inch aluminum wheels from the Chevrolet Accessory collection. Complementing the wheels are concept fender flares that enhance the look.

Additional exterior features include a concept bed-mounted sports bar with custom LED lighting and a concept front nudge bar. The bed features a spray-on bedliner complete with Chevy bowtie logo. A black finish with blacked-out trim featuring Polaris ACE graphics round out the exterior amenities.

On the inside, the Silverado Polaris ACE+ Concept features leather-trimmed seating as well as OnStar 4G LTE with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.

Under the hood, the concept features GM’s EcoTec3 5.3L V8 pushing out 355 horses and 383 pound-feet of torque. The concept, as it is set up, has a maximum payload capacity of 2,100 pounds and a trailering capacity of 10,800 pounds.
